ABC Early Learning Academy in Ennis, TX runs four child care programs: infant care, toddler care, preschool and Pre-K, and after-school care for ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We're open 6 AM to 7 PM weekdays, meet or exceed Texas licensing ratios, and include a hot breakfast, hot lunch, and snack.

What happens in the Morning Room and learning centers?
Every day from 6:00 to 8:00 AM, early arrivals of all ages gather in the Morning Room: a calm, social start before children move to their own classrooms for breakfast and the day's learning.
Circle time anchors each morning with songs about numbers, the alphabet, days of the week, and months of the year. Children then rotate through hands-on learning centers:

- STEM & Building
Every classroom gets at least two supervised outdoor play sessions a day, weather permitting. Screens stay nearly off: no personal devices, and classroom screen time is capped at 45 minutes a week, educational only, never used as a reward or discipline. Guidance follows the Conscious Discipline approach.

We follow, and aim to beat, the Texas HHSC Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards in every classroom.

Weekly rates are published openly, with a discount when you pay on Monday and 50% off your first week when you refer a new student.

Which program is right for my child's age?
Infant care serves babies from 6 weeks to 12 months, toddler care covers 12 months to 2 years, preschool and Pre-K serve 3 to 5 years, and after-school care serves 6 to 12 years. Tell us your child's birthday on a tour and we will confirm the right classroom.
Are meals included in every program?
Yes. Every program includes a hot breakfast, a hot lunch, and an afternoon snack, all cooked on-site in our own kitchen at no extra charge. Families don't pack food. Tell us about allergies or dietary needs at enrollment so the kitchen can plan substitutions for your child.
What hours are the programs open?
All programs run Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, so parents commuting on I-45 can drop off early and pick up late. Early arrivals of every age gather in our Morning Room from 6:00 to 8:00 AM before heading to their own classrooms.
